Unfortunately, we used the car service listed in the map guide we were provided while staying at The Mills House. The cars were eclectic and interesting, but the service lacked in experience!

We noticed one of your cars in passing and asked the concierges about your service, and all input seemed great, but since we didn't see you in the hotels map publication, we had no idea Green Taxi existed! Hopefully we'll remember your name next time we're in town because we think your concept is superb!

Hmmmm, it seems that you have copied the business strategy of the Charleston Black Cab Company to the letter, or should I say the rate map! It's a shame that your vehicles are "run of the mill" and not unique. How can you feel confident in charging the same rates as Black Cab for much less of a service?

Actually Jono....As there maps looks the same, Green Taxi's prices are 10-15 dollars cheaper than Black Cab. They are also willing to compromise on the price unlike black cab who tends to over charge lately. As for their "run of the mill" vehicles, they are hybrids and provide a great green service. Black Cab has to have unique cars to make up for there "run of the mill" service.

I use Charleston Green Taxi all the time, and have never had an issue with overcharging. They use iPhones to complete credit card transactions, which I find super convenient. Their drivers are the best, their service and promptness is superb, and their cars are clean. They are more than a metered taxi, but you pay for what you get. Simply put: BEST cab company in Charleston by a long-shot.

You quoted my girlfriend and I $30 to go from CVS on Ben Sawyer Blvd to Shem Creek. This was less than a two mile trip. You have got to be kidding me. People, if you get in a cab that doesn't run a meter in Charleston, you are going to get ripped off.

Only in Charleston can a limo company, running limo plates, charging whatever they want call themselves a "taxi" company. Unbelievable.
